Super Talent Technology introduces UltraDrive MX2 SSD

The new SSD is optimised for those wishing to max out the performance of laptops and desktops

NAND Flash storage applications and DRAM memory modules manufacturer, Super Talent Technology, has introduced new high performance SSD, UltraDrive MX2 which claims to offer enhanced speed.

The new SSD features sequential read and write speeds up to 240MB/sec and it claims to allow firms to cover bases from enhanced transaction speeds for database servers to faster load times in high end gaming rigs.

UltraDrive MX2 also supports the latest garbage collection and Trim features which are designed to keep this SSD running at peak performance, the company said.

Super Talent Technology's new SSD is available in capacities including 60GB, 120GB, 240GB, 480GB with MLCs FTM06M225H, FTM12M225H, FTM24M225H and FTM48M225H respectively.

The UltraDrive SSDs are equipped with advanced error correction (ECC), wear leveling and bad block management technologies to help make them more reliable.

Super Talent Technology Engineering vice president, Shimon, said the UltraDrive MX2 is a premium consumer offering for those wishing to maximise the performance of laptops and desktops. "The new dual interface we offer also allows users the flexibility for it to function as an internal or external drive," Shimon said.
